Fishing Tackle for STEP OUTSIDE

Discounted fishing tackle is now available to STEP OUTSIDE volunteers through the Future Fisherman Foundation’s Tackle Box program. This program is designed to equip any not-for-profit efforts with the fishing tackle and educational materials needed to successfully host a youth fishing event.

The Future Fisherman Foundation is the recruitment and education arm of the American Sportfishing Association, the trade association for the U.S. sportfishing industry. Tackle manufacturers and wholesalers have teamed up through the Foundation to provide discounted fishing tackle and educational materials, which can be ordered at www.futurefisherman.org. Select the “FTLP” link on the left hand side, then choose the “Tackle Catalog” selection. Before entering, you will be asked to register for a password. This password helps ensure only not-for-profit and government agencies use this service. Once you receive your password, you can enter the catalog to review equipment and prices, and to place an order. All equipment and materials offered by the Foundation meet the needs of beginning anglers and have proven to hold up well in rough conditions.
